The reconciliation of work and personal life consists of the possibility that the hard-working people make compatible, on the one hand, the work facet and on the other, the personnel in the widest possible sense, including both family and collective needs as well as personal and individual, the management of leisure, etc.
Reconciling means having our time in a balanced way, that is, the balance between family, personal and work life. Conciliation improves our well-being, health and capacity for personal work (our own and our environment). In short, conciliation puts life at the centre.
But conciliation is not an individual act, it is a shared responsibility, and that is why we must reconcile in a corresponsible way.
Corresponsibility refers to the equitable distribution of responsibilities and tasks, both in the workplace and in the family, between the people who make up a relationship or family. This implies that men and women share equally household responsibilities, childcare and other tasks related to family life. Corresponsibility seeks to eliminate traditional gender roles and promote equal participation of all family members in everyday tasks and decision-making.
Shared responsibility for time management. Achieving real equality requires the balanced distribution of time between women and men.
This enables a better balance between personal, family and work life.
Recognize and value care as a shared responsibility.
It strengthens equal participation in employment and in community life.
From the DIGECP Project we promote local policies that promote coresponsibility and build fairer and more sustainable municipalities.
With the support of the European Union and the collaboration of INDA Iniciativas SL .
This badge, supported by the EU, will certify the commitment of municipalities to gender equality, promoting the incorporation of gender perspective in their policies and actions.
